Brandman University

In 1958, Brandman University was first known as Chapman University College of Chapman University. The institution was largely focused on delivering education to the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station due to the lack of opportunities for military personnel to receive an education and the rising demand for it.

However, as demand for the college’s curriculum increased, the college separated into a distinct institute and changed its name in 2009.

Although it has 25 locations spread out across California and Washington, the university’s main campus is in Irvine, California. The university’s primary focus is on offering high-quality adult education, and as a result, it offers a learning environment that is tailored to their needs with flexible schedules and knowledgeable teachers that are aware of the skill development required to advance.

After all these years, Brandman University remains committed to its original goal. The institute continues to be military-friendly even though it has expanded beyond only helping military personnel. Its campuses are located on six bases.

Both Active Duty officers and Veterans can take its courses. It belongs to the SOC, a group of institutions that support military students with credit transfers when they change service stations. The university also participates in the “Troops to Teachers” program, which offers military people who are qualified to seek teaching careers.

Additionally, it takes part in the “Yellow Ribbon Program,” which gives post-9/11 veterans money for further education. The university has various collaborations with neighborhood groups and other partners in the area through which it gives them access to seminars, training, webinars, and other services. As of now, it has collaborations with more than 100 organizations.

More than 125 academic programs, including Associate Level, Bachelor’s Degree, Certificate, Master’s, and Professional Development programs, are available. The distinguished Marybelle and S. Paul Musco School of Nursing and Health Professions house these under five schools and colleges (MSNaHP).

Rate of Acceptance

Brandman University has a 95% acceptance rate, which is greater than many other institutions you might be applying to. However, don’t assume that getting into Brandman is a given. Your application will still be examined by the admissions department to see whether you are a suitable fit for the institution.

The ratio of students to faculty

A common indicator of how much access students will have to their professors is the student-to-faculty ratio; the smaller the number, the better. In contrast to the 15 to 1 national average, Brandman University’s rate is a high 22 to 1.

The proportion of Full-Time Faculty

Some observers like to consider the number of instructors who are full-time employees when predicting how much access students will have to their professors. This is due to the possibility that part-time instructors may not have as much free time on campus as their full-time colleagues.

At Brandman University, 11% of the teachers are full-time. This is less than the 47% national average.

What is the price of Brandman University?

Brandman’s total average net cost is $27,866. Since net price varies by income level, the affordability of the school mostly depends on your financial needs. Tuition, lodging, board, and other costs are added together to produce the net price, which is then reduced by financial aid.

Be aware that the net cost is frequently lower than the school’s quoted cost. See our pages on tuition and fees and room and board for additional details on Brandman’s sticker price.

At Brandman, the default rate on student loans is 4.1%. This is a positive indication that you will be able to repay your student loans because it is much lower than the 10.1% national default rate.
