Life Pacific College San Dimas, California

In San Dimas, California, there is a biblical college called Life Pacific College. Aimee Semple McPherson founded it in 1923 as the Echo Park Evangelistic and Missionary Training Institute in Echo Park, Los Angeles. Three years later, LIFE Bible College was given the old name.

The acronym LIFE stands for “Lighthouse of International Foursquare Evangelism,” and it was used when the organization relocated to a five-story structure next to Angelus Temple. The college relocated to its current campus in 1990.

In the early 2000s, it was given its current name. In 1957, Mount Vernon Bible College, a sibling institution, was founded in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Before it was shut down in 2003 owing to financial issues, this college’s name was changed in 1988 to Life Bible College East. To Life Pacific Park College, its registers were moved.

According to the college, one of its goals is to develop students into god-serving leaders for the church, workplace, and personal life. The Simonson Center, the Hicks Student Center, Hamilton Hall, Cadonau Hall, Canning Hall, and McPherson Hall are just a few of the standout structures on the LPC main campus in San Dimas. LFC also maintains a campus in Christiansburg.

The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel is connected to the college. It provides a master’s program, two associate degree programs, and six bachelor’s degree programs. The Association for Biblical Higher Education and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges both accredit Life Pacific.
